1. International Fireworks Standards Committee (ISO/TC264) Secretariat was established in Liuyang

In May, ISO/TC264 Secretariat was established in Liuyang. Four months later, the delegation of China,Germanyand other countries gathered here to discuss the regulations of the international fireworks industry. Six companies of Liuyang participated in the first meeting of ISO/TC264.

2. Fireworks created multiple world records at the Seventh Central Trade and Investment Expo

On May 17^th, the Seventh Central Trade and Investment Expo-a panoramic laser music fireworks show was held at the Changsha Orange Island. The entire display is with panoramic art of fireworks, integrated use of laser, lights and other performances. The world's first Sleep Matrix Fireworks, Huge Net Curtain Fireworks made their debut, setting many world records. Numbers of Special effects and new products are more than previous major firework shows.

3. Fireworks products implemented registration of the Direction Information Systems

As per State Administration of Work Safety and the Ministry of Public Security regulations, since July 1st, 2012, all fireworks, black powder, fuses must be inputted to computer system. Since October 1st, 2012, the products failing to post code and entry information shall not be sold or issued Fireworks Transport Permit.

4. New regulations of Fireworks Safe Production License became effective

Measures for Fireworks Enterprises Safe Production Permit implemented since August 1st, 2012.  According to its provisions, fireworks enterprises are not allowed to purchase products from other companies and sell it with their own labels, or they will be punished for a fine from RMB 10000 to 30000. It also expressly provided the safe distance between enterprises and nearby buildings and facilities.

5. Keep inner-tube under 1.2-inches as personal discharging products

After discussions of more than two years, in October, 2012, Joint Meeting of the Seven Ministries revealed that individuals discharging products will be retained for that inner cylinder is below 1.2 inches.
